Snaitech's commitment is aimed at charting a course increasingly oriented towards the integration of social, economic and environmental responsibility. A strategy of sustainable growth strengthened also thanks to the participation in two important networks dedicated to corporate social responsibility.
UN Global Compact
UN Global Compact is the world's largest initiative for business sustainability, based on ten universal principles relating to human rights, labour, the environment and the fight against corruption. With this adhesion, Snaitech reaches more than 15,000 signatory companies from more than 160 countries around the world. The company is also committed to making its ongoing contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, the 17 goals promulgated by the United Nations within the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
is the association that since 2006 has brought together professionals and managers personally committed to spreading the culture of sustainability in companies and other organisations. The Sustainability Manager promotes workshops, research, conferences, webinars, working groups, publications and conventions for its members, all guided by the theme of sustainability.
Diversity & Inclusion
Snaitech firmly believes in the value of diversity as a determining and indispensable factor for the development of the company: the variety of points of view and the heterogeneity of everyone's experiences guarantee a constant and positive contamination, without which there could be no comparison or exchange of ideas. Snaitech is committed to promoting an inclusive culture, inside and outside the office, and in this process it collaborates with two associations: Parks - Liberi e Uguali, and Valore D.
Parks - Free and Equal
Snaitech adheres to Parks - Liberi e Uguali, the non-profit association created to promote the values of inclusion and non-discrimination and committed to defending the rights of LGBT+ minorities. Founded in 2010, Parks - Liberi e Uguali focuses on valuing differences and eliminating discrimination linked to sexual orientation and gender identity. The organization supports its member companies in creating inclusive workplaces by helping them implement internal regulations, raise awareness and develop an open culture on diversity in general, and sexual orientation and gender identity in particular. The collaboration between Snaitech and Parks is part of a broader path undertaken by the company and aimed at the continuous improvement of the corporate climate and consequently of the well-being of its employees, an invaluable resource and a pillar of every company. With this in mind, the Group considered it essential to involve all employees in this path, starting with the organisation of an internal digital event - by Parks - whose purpose was to present the association and, at the same time, raise awareness and promote Diversity and Inclusion issues. It was an important moment of sharing, which will be followed by other training and awareness events, organised in collaboration with Parks and linked by a single common thread: contributing to the spread of a culture of respect and inclusion in the broadest sense of the term, from sexual orientation to gender identity, from age and sex to disability.
Snaitech has joined Valore D, the first association of companies in Italy which for more than ten years has been committed to building a professional world without discrimination or gender gaps. Thanks to this new partnership, Snaitech is taking a further step towards the creation and dissemination of a culture of inclusion, in this case with a specific focus on gender balance, thus also contributing to the achievement of the fifth United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely Gender Equality. The company has always been committed to gender balance, aware that an inclusive working environment that reflects the right balance of the sexes is the fundamental ingredient for managing challenges and changes. To present the association and the path that will be undertaken together in the coming months, Snaitech organised a digital event - held during Snaitech Sustainability Week - for all employees, thus making them participants in an exciting project that will certainly enrich each and every one of them. Joining the Valore D network will also allow Snaitech to participate in various initiatives, including training meetings, inter-company working groups and webinars aimed at discussion and dialogue.
